High School History Activity: Wilson’s Deal

In the twilight days of World War I, the major countries convened in Versailles, France to determine the end of the Great War. President Woodrow Wilson brought a 14 point plan dubbed Wilson’s Deal in which he outlined his plan for lasting peace.

In the activity below, read excerpts from Wilson’s Deal and write the meaning behind each phrase. Review the major goals of the deal and express whether or not you think Wilson’s Deal was successful and provide support for your ideas.
