Thomas Jefferson is remembered as one of the founding fathers of America. He was the author of the Declaration of Independence and his face graces Mount Rushmore. All of this may not have come to pass as Jefferson’s election was very complicated. At the time, the person with the most Electoral votes would become president and the person with the second most would become Vice President.
